As a core aspect of innovation at Beazley, the team works on a range of risk issues including some of the most challenging questions facing the industry- including intangible assets & climate change in 2021. There are two main components to the team’s work: insurtech advisory and first party product development - with both aspects prioritizing opportunities that represent breakthrough innovation.

He oversees product office with 100% focus on improving CTI value proposition based on cutting-edge software, within which he deploys and directs the expansion and growth strategy globally.

Lautaro has more than 20 years of experience in strategy, sales and technology, performing multiple C-level roles (Chief Commercial Officer, Global Digital Practice Director, Strategy Director and Chief Product Office) for different companies. He co-founded (2012), scaled-up and sold (2018), a multimillion valued insurance technology solution. Lautaro is Non-Executive Director of The Sprout Studio, a Paris-based studio specializing in anticipating the future.

Andrew Johnston

Andrew Johnston is Willis Re’s global head of InsurTech. He sits in Willis Re’s central management team, based primarily out of Nashville, and leads the charge on researching and engaging with emerging markets; specifically focusing on global InsurTech development, disruptive technologies, the Sharing Economy, and Cyber. One of Andrew’s focusses is the day-to-day running of Willis Re InsurTech, serving Willis Re’s traditional client base and emerging InsurTech one. Andrew is the editor of the Willis Towers Watson Quarterly InsurTech briefing. Prior to joining Willis Re, Andrew served as an expert historical consultant to the United Nations. Andrew holds a PhD from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
